Tunis Shrine Legion of Honour

On June 1, 2024, the Tunis Shrine Legion of Honour solemnly conducted a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the National War Memorial’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This poignant event included a special tribute marking the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force and the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The wreath was honourably laid by IALOH 1st Lieutenant Commander Wayne Steele, while the flag was placed by new Noble and retired Major-General Duff Sullivan, which had flown over Juno Beach from August 21 to September 3, 2023.
